Germany research market · Exodus BTC → EUR bank · Source-led experiment
Move the route before you move the coins. Deposit, sell, then withdraw EUR.
A small BTC balance in Exodus still needs a complete route: a Germany-available account, a matching BTC deposit, a visible sale quote and a same-name SEPA withdrawal. A headline fee does not pre-approve any of those steps.
Separate the wallet transfer from the bank outcome.
Confirm the account first. Germany availability, identity checks, limits and the exact BTC deposit network are account-specific. Generate the address only inside the signed-in destination.
Keep the evidence. Save the Exodus address, transaction ID, acquisition records and the reason for the transfer. A public help page cannot pre-approve a particular wallet history.
Sell only after credit. Check the BTC/ EUR route, spread or fee, minimums and the displayed EUR proceeds separately from the deposit.
Withdraw to your own name. Verify the SEPA beneficiary, currency, hold, limits and timing in the live account. Do not treat a successful BTC deposit as proof that a bank payout is available.
02 / Provider decision
Published help narrows the route; the signed-in account decides it.
EUR and SEPA documentation
Coinbase
Coinbase lists SEPA as available for buying, selling, adding cash and cashing out for EU customers, with a stated 1–3 business-day settlement window. It also says the payment-method name must match the Coinbase account. The live BTC sale quote and account eligibility still control.
Kraken publishes a withdrawal table and a separate fee schedule, but those public figures are not a guarantee that this account can receive the Exodus deposit or release EUR to a German bank. Compare the signed-in BTC deposit, BTC/EUR sell preview and SEPA beneficiary before sending the full balance.
bitcoin.de is a Germany-focused marketplace worth checking when local account and payout expectations matter, but the current offer, payment method, verification state and final bank route must be confirmed in the account. Treat it as an alternative to investigate, not as a guaranteed replacement for Binance.

What to verify
Do not infer
Deposit
BTC address, network, confirmations and review prompts
That Germany availability equals approval of your wallet history
Sell
BTC/EUR quote, spread, fee, minimum and available order path
That a published fee equals your executed proceeds
Bank
Same-name SEPA account, limit, hold and displayed timing
That a credited BTC balance guarantees a withdrawal
Evidence
Exodus history, transaction IDs and acquisition records retained
That a bank or exchange has pre-cleared the source
If the route cannot show a supported BTC deposit, a usable EUR sale and a same-name payout, stop before sending. A small balance does not remove network or compliance risk.
Should I send the BTC to whichever exchange has the lowest fee?
No. First confirm the exact deposit network and account route, then compare the live sale and withdrawal preview. A low headline fee cannot compensate for an unavailable payout or a blocked deposit.
Is this a recommendation or a tested cash-out?
No. This is a bounded Germany-market experiment based on a full public source and official documentation. No account, transfer, sale or bank withdrawal was performed.
Research basis: the full public source says the author has about $500 of BTC in Exodus, wants to cash out and found Binance unavailable in Germany. Germany is the selected research market, not a claim about the author’s residence. Links are ordinary official links. Kraken’s affiliate page describes approved revenue share, but this site has no active partner link or verified attribution; signup, deposit and withdrawal are not claimed as payable events.
