Compare the Bitcoin delivered,
not one fee percentage.

Kraken Pro, Bitvavo and Revolut X publish different order fees. Your real result also depends on EUR funding, execution price and the BTC withdrawal quote. Use the same €200 budget and destination wallet before replacing an exchange.

01 / Three documented routes

Low order fees can still lose
after withdrawal.

Flexible order book

Kraken Pro

Kraken's current first spot tier lists 0.40% maker and 0.80% taker. The consumer Buy screen is a different product with a 1% trading fee and spread, so record which interface you actually use.

EUR funding and native-BTC withdrawal availability depend on the verified account. Kraken tells customers to use the live funding page for current network fees. A lower order price is unfinished until the Bitcoin can leave.

EUR-first exchange

Bitvavo

Bitvavo lists free SEPA funding and a first EUR-market tier of 0.15% maker and 0.25% taker. Its crypto withdrawal charge varies with blockchain capacity and is published in BTC on the live fee table.

Use the executed BTC/EUR order, not an indicative quote. Then subtract the displayed native-Bitcoin withdrawal fee and respect the current minimum before comparing with the other routes.

Revolut-linked order book

Revolut X

Revolut X Germany publishes 0% maker and 0.09% taker fees. That is the exchange interface, not the standard app's crypto quote. The actual execution price still determines how much BTC €200 buys.

For BTC withdrawal Revolut lists a service fee equivalent to £3 plus a variable network fee, both shown before confirmation. That fixed component can outweigh a small trading-fee advantage on a €200 test.

02 / The €200 comparison

Write down six numbers,
then choose.

  1. Start with total EUR debited. Include any bank, card or instant-funding charge. A €200 order is not comparable if another route debits €202.
  2. Use BTC/EUR in every order book. Record maker or taker status only after execution; an unfilled limit order bought nothing.
  3. Record executed BTC. Do not compare headline market prices or percentages alone. The fill and fee determine the account balance.
  4. Preview native Bitcoin withdrawal. Paste a receive address you control, select the Bitcoin network and record the service/network fee without confirming.
  5. Check holds and minimums. Note when bank-funded BTC becomes withdrawable and whether €200 clears the current withdrawal minimum.
  6. Compare net BTC. Subtract the previewed withdrawal fee from executed BTC. If self-custody matters, the highest final number is the relevant cost result.

A useful comparison,
not a cheapest winner.

The source's Binance availability problem belongs to that person's circumstances; this guide does not claim a general German ban. Germany/en is our selected market for checking an EEA route. Verify residency, identity and bank eligibility before funding.

Kraken publishes negotiated revenue share on eligible referred trading activity after affiliate approval. No affiliate account or tracking link is active here, and signup or deposit is not claimed as payable. Bitvavo and Revolut X are comparison-only.
