A first Coinbase wire cashout requiring a verification deposit has $35 in published Coinbase wire fees: $10 in and $25 out. Add both banks’ applicable charges. The money deposited for verification is your money, not itself a fee. A later cashout from the already verified bank does not repeat that setup cost.

For an illustrative $200 cash balance, $35 is 17.5% before bank charges; for $2,000 it is 1.75%. These are arithmetic examples, not account quotes. For a card, use its live fee instead. For Kraken, subtract the transfer, sale and bank costs from the same starting asset amount; comparing $4 against $25 alone leaves out the expensive steps.

  1. Record the available balance and whether it is cash or crypto.
  2. Confirm that your own bank or card supports the chosen receiving method.
  3. Compare final bank proceeds after every required step, including first-time verification.
  4. Use the official account screens for banking instructions. Do not use account numbers or support phone numbers from search-result comments.
